www.tudorrosepatchwork.co.uk	Tudor Rose Patchwork is a little aladins cave of all things habadashery and handicrafts. Located in Oakly (near Bedford), if you weren't looking for it - you might just miss it - but it is well worth a visit. In addition to the huge range of fabrics and crafting materials etc, Tudor Rose also offer workshops in a variety of topics for those who either want to start a new hobby or improve on skills they already have. In addition to my own private teachings, I am pleased to say I will be teaching two workshops there in February and June.
www.hotelsinbedford.co.uk	The De Parys Hotel. In addition to the usual accomodation and facilities it has to offer its guests, the hotel is also open to non-residents offering bar, lounge, restaurant and garden with menu's for lunches/lite bites, as well as a full main menu. In addition to all of this it now hosts a monthly Arts and Crafts Fair, 10am to 4pm, free admission. The hotel also has corporate facilities and can cater too for those big family occasions.
www.bromhammillers.co.uk	The Bromham Millers offer basic business courses and workshops aimed specifically at those talented with arts and crafts abilities, who may want to improve the running of their hobby or who want to turn it more into a part-time or full-time business. The courses and workshops are free. I personally recommend their course as I have done it and it gave me the confidence and self-belief to follow my dream. They offer continuing support once you have finished the course, even if you decide that you are quite happy the way you are!

As if my Jewellery wasn’t enough of a reason to visit, the Life focus centre offers a range of complementary therapies to help give clarity and relaxation.
