Hi!

I have been ‘dabbling’ in jewellery for around  20 years, starting with beaded earrings, bracelets and necklaces.  Then I came across PMC—Precious Metal Silver Clay, on the Sky channel Create and Craft.  Feeling that I had found the answer to my prayers (and frustration that I had not done Silver-smithing when I was younger) I ordered a starter pack, and the rest as they say ‘is history’.  That was around 7 years ago.

Initially self taught, as my confidence and desire to develop grew, I attended workshops and courses to develop my skills and attain certification from The UK distributor for PMC.

Many of the skills I learnt on the various courses I have attended,  I already incorporate into my work, others I am still having fun experimenting with and developing. Some of these  techniques I also incorporate into my teaching. 

I love making Jewellery and even after 7 years I am still amazed at how a lump of silver clay magically turns into a piece of fine silver jewellery.  The final ‘reveal’ as I polish the item still gives me tingles!

Because I find making jewellery such an antidote for the ‘stresses and strains’ of everyday living, I want to share this with all those who would like to learn.
