What Happens?

Your initial treatment session will consist of my checking any contra-indications * or cautions with you, before taking an in-depth confidential case history, which is then followed by the treatment most appropriate for you, or it may be of your choice - contra-indications allowing. You should allow up to 1 hour 15 minutes for this - depending upon therapy given.

Further treatments start with an informal pre-treatment chat to assess your progress, which is then followed by your treatment, for which you should allow about an hour.

Treatments are usually carried out with the client lying on a treatment couch, although if preferred a seated position may also be possible.

In the days following your treatment you should drink plenty of plain water to assist the body in eliminating any toxins or ‘waste products’ resulting from the treatment.

How Often?

As each individual is unique, the number of treatments that you require before you realise any improvements in your well-being will vary.  How long your symptoms have existed, the severity of them and, to some extent, your willingness to improve your state of health and well-being, all affect the number of treatments required.

Weekly treatments are recommended until improvements are realised, then the space between treatments are gradually increased, aiming for monthly maintenance treatments, thereby maintaining the improvements in health and well-being already achieved. (Treatments can, of course, be spaced according to what your personal financial circumstances will allow.)

Therapy Parties

Not sure if these therapies are for you - but you would still like to try it - then hold a Therapy Party.

Get a group of around 8 friends together and I will come and talk to you about these therapies and give each of your guests a taster treatment in either or both therapies of Reflexology and Reiki. The taster sessions are approximately 20 minutes long and cost just £10 each, and as Hostess of the party you will receive your taster treatments absolutely free.

The Therapy Party can be combined with my Fine Silver Jewellery, in which case you would receive your free taster treatments plus 10% discount off your jewellery purchases (see Jewellery section of website for more details) or the discount could be used against the cost of full Reflexology or Reiki treatments.

Availability of Parties are subject to locality to Bedford. Please check with me if travelling time is more than 30 minutes.
