Precious Metal Clay will accept an imprint of a fingerprint which can then be transformed into a unique piece of pure silver jewellery - be it a pendant or keyfob, cufflinks, earrings, or a bracelet charm.

You have a choice of a simple shaped 'charm' containing the fingerprint, or you can choose a more personal and unique piece of individual jewellery to incorporate the fingerprint.

Whatever your prefered option, the jewellery will be designed around your specifications, so you have a say as to the size, shape and style of the fingerprint jewellery.

It should be noted, however, that young children do not have very clear fingerprints until they are about 2-3 years of age, and so baby prints will be more baby's mark rather than baby's fingerprint.

If you want to check your child's fingerprint before deciding whether or not to go ahead with a Keepsake, simply press their finger into bluetac or plastercine or onto the sticky side of sellotape, and this should give an indication. On the other hand, many parents are just happy to have their baby's mark captured in silver.

As Fingerprint jewellery is so personal and made to order, the price can only be estimated once the design has been decided.You will be given a maximum price range, and once the piece is finished you will be advised of the finalised price, which hopefully falls between the range estimated. The price won't ever exceed the maximum amount that you were advised. As a starting guideline finalised prices have so far ranged from £25 up to around £70, according to size and style of keepsake.
